Robert Kuttner: Not Just Jobs -- Good Jobs

Sun, 2010-09-05 23:30
As in the middle and late 1930s, economic growth is now positive -- just not strong enough to create sufficient jobs. This, of course, is the lingering fallout from the financial collapse of 2008. And while Republicans would resist legislating a serious public jobs program, the administration should fight for one anyway. There is plenty that government can do right now to improve jobs pay via executive powers. Robert Kuttner http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-kuttner/
